उत्तराखण्ड लोक सेवा आयोग द्वारा वन विभाग के अन्तर्गत समूह ‘ग’ में वन आरक्षी के 894 रिक्त पदों पर सीधी भर्ती द्वारा चयन हेतु ऑनलाइन आवेदन पत्र आमन्त्रित किए गये हैं। समूह ‘ग’ के सीधी भर्ती के पदों पर भर्ती हेतु आवेदन करने के लिए वही अभ्यर्थी पात्र होगा जिसने अपनी हाई स्कूल एवं इण्टरमीडिएट अथवा इनके समकक्ष स्तर की शिक्षा उत्तराखण्ड राज्य में स्थित मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थानों से उर्त्तीण की है।
UKPSC Forest Guard (वन आरक्षी) Recruitment:
Post Name and Nature – Forest Guard or वन आरक्षी (अराजपत्रित/ स्थायी)
Pay Scale – Rs 21700-69100 (Pay Level-03).
Age Limit – 18 to 29 Years as on 01.07.2022 (relaxation in upper age limit as per Govt rules).
वन आरक्षी पद हेतु उत्तराखण्ड अधीनस्थ सेवा चयन आयोग द्वारा पूर्व में प्रकाशित विज्ञापन दिनांक 19 अगस्त, 2021 में जिन अभ्यर्थियों द्वारा आवेदन किया गया था, उन अभ्यर्थियों हेतु आयु गणना की निश्चायक तिथि उक्त विज्ञापन के अनुसार 01 जुलाई, 2021 है। उक्त के अतिरिक्त अन्य अभ्यर्थियों हेतु आयु गणना की निश्चिायक तिथि 01 जुलाई, 2022 है।
Educational Qualification – 12th Pass (Intermediate) from a recognized Board or equivalent qualification. In order to be eligible to apply for the direct recruitment of Samuh G (Group C) Posts of Forest Guard (Van Arakshi), candidate must have passed 10th and 12th or equivalent level of examination from recognized institutions located in Uttarakhand State.

Forest Guard Selection Process, Physical and Exam Syllabus
Uttarakhand Forest Guard (Van Arakshi) selection process will be completed in 02 phases. In the first phase, all eligible candidates will be called for written examination (objective type) and then candidates qualified in written exam will have to go through physical tests (Physical Standards Test and Physical Efficiency Test) of qualifying in nature. The written exam is scheduled to be conducted in the month of January 2023 tentatively.
UKPSC Van Arakshi (Forest Guard) recruitment process will consist of Written Examination, Physical Standards Test and Physical Efficiency Test as per the pattern given below.
Written Examination:
In the first phase, all eligible candidates will be called for written examination of maximum 100 Marks. The written exam is scheduled by the Commission to conduct during the month of Jan 2023 (tentative date). The question paper will be of 02 Hours duration and will consist of total 100 multiple choice objective type questions (01 mark each) based on General Hindi, General Knowledge and General Studies (upto 12th standard).
Minimum 45 marks for General candidates, minimum 40 marks for EWS/OBC candidates and minimum 35 marks for SC/ ST candidates will be required to qualify in the written exam. Negative marking of ¼ marks will be applicable for every wrong answer marked by candidates.
Physical Standards Test:
Candidates qualified in written exam will be called to appear for Physical Standard Test (qualifying in nature) as per the physical measurements (Height and Chest) below:
Male Candidates:
Height – Minimum 163 Cms (152 Cms in case of ST, Kumauni, Garhwali, Gorkha, Naga, Nepali, Assamese, Ladakhi, Sikkim, Bhutani etc).
Chest – 05 Cms expansion.
Female (Mahila) Candidates:
Height – Minimum 150 Cms (145 Cms in case of ST, Kumauni, Garhwali, Gorkha, Naga, Nepali, Assamese, Ladakhi, Sikkim, Bhutani etc).
Physical Efficiency Test:
Candidates qualified in Physical Standards Test will be allowed to appear for Physical Efficiency Test (qualifying in nature) consisting the event (Run/ Race) as given below.
Male Candidates – 25 Kms Run within maximum 04 hours.
Female (Mahila) Candidates – 14 Kms Run within maximum 04 hours.
Only successful candidates in the race will be declared qualified. In the case of being found unfit in the physical standard test or not fulfilling the prescribed eligibility criteria for the physical efficiency test, the candidate will be declared unfit and will be excluded from the selection process.
For selection as Forest Guard in Van Vibhag, category wise final merit list will be prepared in order of marks obtained by candidates in the written examination. In the case of obtaining similar marks by two or more candidates, the merit will be determined on the basis of higher age.
